The Patagonian Ice Field is the third largest ice extension in the world, after Antarctica and Greenland, and the largest extension in South America. It has an average height of 1500m / s / n / m and can be described as an immense “plateau” covered by eternal snows and crossed by the Andes mountain range from north to south. Its expanse covers both parts of Chile and Argentina.
An intense and inspiring excursion, this is the best adventure in the Southern ice field, a journey for the most daring and outdoor enthusiasts. Eleven days of expedition that puts you to the limit, facing the purest and wildest of Patagonia. Inhospitable and unexplored places, as well as beautiful landscapes, vegetation, fauna, glaciers, lakes, rivers, valleys, and mountains. You will visit incredible places like: the town of O’higgins (Lake O’higgins) Candelario Mansilla, Agostini Overlook, Chico Glacier, Piedras Rojas, Camp Eduardo García Soto, Circo de los Altares, all culminating this incredible journey in El Chaltén, Argentina.
